Luscious Lily is a dreamer with a dash of femme fatale. She’s out to enchant you with her poetic, sensual dance and dazzling costumes. On stage she brings the exotic dance of times gone by back to life. From the elegant Belle Époque to the Roaring Twenties and the world of seductive pin-ups: Luscious Lily takes you on a journey through the history of striptease, but often with a modern twist.

Dutch showgirl Luscious Lily has been a passionate dancer since early childhood and is trained in different styles such as jazz, modern dance, belly dance, poledance and aerial arts. When she discovered the art of burlesque in 2010 she immediately felt at home in the world of glamour, feathers, rhinestones and seduction.

Luscious Lily is a performer, producer, teacher and costume designer. Her work is characterized by lavish looks, a subtle sensuality, a love for history and a great eye for detail.

Her performances are strongly influenced by her background in art history and show a fascination for the Jazz Age, silent movies and big revues like the Ziegfeld Follies. Luscious Lily has performed at a variety of events, such as burlesque clubs, festivals, cocktail bars and private parties.

As a costume designer, Luscious Lily has worked for top performers in the Netherlands since 2017, including Bustie La Tish, Madame Romanova and Flora Gattina.  

Luscious Lily is an experienced workshop teacher and the author of a series of lectures on subjects like the History of Burlesque and Burlesque Costumes.

She teamed up with Bustie La Tish and Zizi Zinnona to produce the feminist burlesque show PUSSY GRABS BACK! for Amsterdam Fringe Festival 2019, which sold out all nights.
